Proveya is a social prediction game. You create an event - a question with a definite outcome - invite your friends, everyone locks in a prediction before it closes, and the app scores everyone automatically once the result is known. It's built to settle arguments, not to place stakes.

Tap create, write your question, pick a prediction format, and set the time it locks. Anyone you invite can submit a prediction until that lock time passes. After it locks, no one can change their answer.

Share the event's short code or send an invite directly to a friend in the app. They enter the code or accept the invite and they're in - there's no fee and no approval step.

Yes/no, multiple choice, exact score, a numeric value, a ranking, or a date and time. If a question has an outcome that can be checked, there's a format for it.

No. Sports events are one option, and they resolve automatically from real match data - but plenty of events are trivia, current affairs, or entirely about your own friend group.

Events linked to a real match resolve automatically from live sports data as soon as the result is final. Other events are resolved by the person who created them. Points are then awarded to everyone who predicted correctly and the leaderboard updates.

A tournament bundles several events into one competition with a running leaderboard. Individual events can be weighted, so a final can count for more than a group-stage game.

A fresh trivia question posted every day for everyone. Answering keeps your streak going and contributes to your global ranking.

Correct predictions earn points, points raise your level, and specific achievements unlock badges that show on your profile. They're cosmetic - they don't unlock features and can't be bought.

You can change it until the event locks. Once the lock time passes, predictions are final - that's the point.

Search for them and add them. There's no request-and-approve step - adding someone puts them in your friends list so you can invite them to events straight away.

You control this. If your profile is public, other users can find it and see your display name, bio, level, achievements and badges. If it isn't, that information stays private. Predictions you make in a shared event are always visible to the other participants of that event.

Email us with the username involved and, if it's about a specific event, which one. We review every report within 24 hours and remove content or accounts that break the rules - the Terms of Use set out what isn't allowed.

With an email address and password, with Google, or - on iPhone and iPad - with Sign in with Apple. All three create the same kind of account.

Yes. Apple gives us a private relay address instead of your real one, and the app works normally with it. Bear in mind that friends searching for your real email address won't find you - share your username instead.

Use the forgot-password link on the sign-in screen and we'll email you a reset link. If you signed in with Google or Apple you don't have a Proveya password at all - sign in the same way you did originally.

In the app, go to Settings → Account → Delete account. That deletes your account and content. If you signed in with Apple, deleting also revokes Proveya's access to your Apple ID. You can also request deletion from the website if you can't reach the app.

No. Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. If you want to use Proveya again afterwards you'll need to create a new account from scratch.

No. There is no wagering, no staking, no buy-in and no cash-out. You cannot win money or prizes, and points, levels and badges have no monetary value — they cannot be sold, transferred or exchanged for anything. Proveya is a game of prediction played for bragging rights.

You must be at least 13, or older if the minimum age of digital consent in your country is higher. Proveya isn't directed at children.

Events linked to real matches resolve from official data, so they can't be manipulated. For events resolved by their creator, the other participants can see the outcome that was recorded - if someone is abusing that, report them and we'll act on it.

Only what the features need: your account and sign-in record, your profile, the events and predictions you create, and - if you allow notifications - a push token. We don't use advertising SDKs, third-party analytics or crash-tracking SDKs, and we never sell your data.

On Hetzner infrastructure in Europe, with Google Firebase handling authentication and push delivery.

Yes, in your device settings at any time. Notifications are optional - the app works fully without them.
