ProveYa is a social prediction game. You start a challenge - a question with a definite outcome - invite your friends, everyone locks in a prediction before it closes, and the app scores everyone once the result is in. It's built to settle arguments, not to place stakes.

Tap Start Challenge, write your question, pick a prediction format, and set the time it locks. Anyone you invite can submit a prediction until that lock time passes. After it locks, no one can change their answer. Not ready yet? Give it a title and save it as a draft to finish later.

Invite them directly in the app, send them the share link, let them scan the challenge's QR code, or give them its 4-digit join code. However they arrive, they're in - there's no fee and no approval step.

Yes/no, multiple choice, exact score, a numeric value, a ranking, a date and time, a full knockout bracket, or a performance challenge where everyone logs their own total - steps, kilometres, reps - and the highest wins. If a question has an outcome that can be checked, there's a format for it.

No. Sports are one option, but plenty of challenges are about esports, entertainment, current affairs, work, or entirely about your own friend group.

When the outcome is known, the challenge's host records the result. Everyone who predicted correctly is scored straight away and the leaderboard updates. Brackets score round by round, and performance challenges rank everyone by the total they logged.

A tournament bundles several challenges into one competition with a running leaderboard. Individual challenges can be weighted, so a final can count for more than a group-stage game. Joining a tournament enrolls you in all of its challenges.

They're on the way. Levels and badges will reward correct calls and show on your profile. They'll be cosmetic - they won't unlock features and can't be bought.

Yes - submit again any time before the challenge locks and your new prediction replaces the old one. Once the lock time passes, predictions are final - that's the point.

Find them under Friends → Suggested and add them. There's no request-and-approve step - adding someone puts them in your friends list so you can invite them to challenges straight away.

You control this. If your profile is public, other users can find it and see your display name, bio, level, achievements and badges. If it isn't, that information stays private. Predictions you make in a shared challenge are visible to the other participants of that challenge.

Open the person's profile and tap Report user, pick a reason and add details if you like - reports are anonymous to the person you report. To report a challenge, use Report challenge in its ... menu. We review every report within 24 hours and remove content or accounts that break the rules.

Tap Block user on their profile. You'll stop seeing them in your friends list and invitations. Unblock them any time from Menu → Privacy → Blocked users. Your block list is stored on your device, so it doesn't carry over to a new phone.

Yes - open it and choose Leave from its menu. If you're the host, you can also archive it to tidy up your list, or delete it for everyone.

With an email address and password, with Google, or - on iPhone and iPad - with Sign in with Apple. All three create the same kind of account.

Yes. Apple gives us a private relay address instead of your real one, and the app works normally with it. Bear in mind that friends searching for your real email address won't find you - share your username instead.

Use the forgot-password link on the sign-in screen and we'll email you a reset link. If you signed in with Google or Apple you don't have a ProveYa password at all - sign in the same way you did originally.

In the app, go to Menu → Account & Security → Delete account. If you host challenges or tournaments that other people are in, you'll first choose who takes each one over. If you signed in with Apple, deleting also revokes ProveYa's access to your Apple ID. You can also request deletion from the website if you can't reach the app.

For 30 days, yes - sign in again with the same email and your account is restored. After 30 days it's deleted for good and can't be recovered; to use ProveYa again you'd create a new account from scratch.

No. There is no wagering, no odds, no real-money buy-in and no cash-out. Some challenges cost virtual points to join, but those points are only earned in the app - they can't be bought, sold, transferred or exchanged for money or prizes. ProveYa is a game of prediction played for bragging rights.

You must be at least 13, or older if the minimum age of digital consent in your country is higher. ProveYa isn't directed at children.

Every participant can see the result the host recorded. If someone is abusing that, report them with the reason "Cheating or unfair play" and we'll act on it.

Only what the features need: your account and sign-in record, your profile, the challenges and predictions you create, any reports you submit, and - if you allow notifications - a push token. We don't use advertising SDKs, third-party analytics or crash-tracking SDKs, and we never sell your data.

On Hetzner infrastructure in Europe, with Google Firebase handling authentication and push delivery.

Yes, in your device settings at any time. Notifications are optional - the app works fully without them.
