Delete Your Account

This page explains how to delete your Proveya account and the personal data associated with it. It applies to accounts created in the Proveya mobile app for Android and iOS, however you signed up — email and password, Google, or Sign in with Apple.

Delete it in the app

The fastest way, and the one we recommend, is to do it yourself in the app:

Settings → Account → Delete account

You'll be asked to confirm, and the deletion starts immediately — no email, no waiting on us. If you signed in with Apple, the app also revokes Proveya's access to your Apple ID as part of the same step, so Proveya stops appearing under Settings → Your Name → Sign in with Apple on your device.

If the app asks you to sign in again first, that's a security check — sign in and repeat the steps above.

If you can't reach the app — you've lost your device, or you can no longer sign in — use the form below instead. So we can verify the request and prevent abuse, please submit it from the email address associated with your account. You can also email us directly at proveya.info@gmail.com.

This opens your email app with the request pre-filled. If it doesn't, email us directly at proveya.info@gmail.com from the address on your account.

What gets deleted

When your account is deleted, we delete or irreversibly anonymize:

  • Your account and authentication record (Firebase user ID and sign-in details).
  • Your profile: username / display name, optional bio, account type, and friends list.
  • Content you created: events, tournaments, predictions/picks, invitations, and any images you uploaded.
  • Your push-notification token and device/platform association.
  • For Sign in with Apple accounts, Proveya's authorization against your Apple ID.

What we may retain

We may keep a limited amount of data where we're legally required to, or to protect the service:

  • Records we must retain to meet legal obligations.
  • Backups and security logs, which age out on a rolling, time-limited basis.
  • Aggregated or anonymized data that no longer identifies you. In shared events or tournaments, results may remain visible to other participants in a form that no longer identifies you.

How long it takes

Deleting in the app takes effect straight away: your account is deactivated immediately and you're signed out. Remaining personal data is fully erased within 30 days. Requests sent through the form above are processed within 30 days and we email you to confirm once it's done.

Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. If you want to use Proveya again later, you'll need to create a new account.
